Now HERE is a good example of good risk management.....

These were taken recently at one of our client's, Tropik Wood Industries Ltd's, timber mill in Lautoka, Fiji.

It shows a serious way to reduce fire risk.

One shows the excellent fire hose reel water pressure, the other shows good practice for fires from hot works such as welding and cutting.

See how the fire extinguishers are in brackets attached to the equipment, so everywhere the equipment goes, so do the extinguishers.

Elsewhere, at another client's facility.......

In a clean and tidy environment, this welder has a fire extinguisher at hand (on his trolley) in case of fire.

These goods are located well away and in a secure and bunded area which has been kept clean.
